Moab

I had a lot of fun in Moab. Everyone said happy birthday to me about 10 each throughout the day, it was funny. (I went with my Singles Ward FYI.) We meet at the church then got into cars and left. We stopped at a park on our way in some town that starts with a W... I don't remember the name, and ate lunch. Then we went to the Red River Adventure in Moab and hopped in buses and went to the Colorado River. I was put on a raft with some pretty interesting members from my ward and they came up with a team name for us; Jasmine's Misfits, because it was my birthday. Our guide's name was Kyle, he was so funny and it was a blast to raft with him. One of the girls brought this giant squirt gun so the boys were squirting all the people who got close to us. Mostly they were squirting the duckies (those are the people who were on the 2 people kayaks). We pulled up to an island, ate our dinner, had a devotional, then pulled out our sleeping bags and slept under the stars. So funny, the Bishop was reading this letter form the father of the boy who passed away in the ward the night before, and everyone was on the verge of tears when we said a closing prayer; then the Bishop tells us that we can stay around the fire or go to bed and one of the girls stopped him and told him that everyone needed to sing Happy Birthday to me first. So the boy sitting in front of me turns his light on me so everyone can see me and all I can see is the light. Then after the song they wanted me to give a speech about what I have learned form my life... I was laughing so hard I could barely talk, then Adam finally turned his light off and everyone stopped looking at me. It was really funny.

The next day I woke up at about 5:30 because I am a really light sleeper and some of the other girls were moving around. I did get to see the sun rise while all the other girls went back to sleep and buried their heads in their sleeping bags. It was so pretty. I did end up waking up everyone who was still asleep when breakfast was about to start because I looked at the pillow sitting next to me and there was a huge spider on it about to climb on my leg. I jumped up and landed on the sleeping bag two spots away and was brushing off the spider that wasn't really there, needless to say everyone heard me scream and most saw my funny dance. Then we ate breakfast, packed up camp, and jumped back on the river to continue our adventure. I was the only one to actually fall in the river, but one of the duckies did tip over. We hit this huge rapid and the raft went one way while my body did a back flip off of it. The people on the raft were able to grab my life vest before the second rapid hit me. It was terrifying and fun at the same time.

When we were done on the river we dried on the beach then ate lunch. Then we hopped back on the buses and went back to our cars to drive home. I was able to take a little nap on the way home and sing along to Wicked, it was amazing. It was a fun birthday and a fantastic experience. When I got home I showered, threw all my clothes in the washer, and went to my friend's birthday party. That was an interesting party and I had a lot of fun. We made an interesting smoothie it was hilarious. It was quite the weekend.

Brithdays...

My apologise for not writing. I have been going a little crazy with school and work. I decided to take some classes for the summer. I decided that four would have been too many so I am only taking two. I took one that was a 12 day class and I turned in all the papers for it today, so I am done with that class. Tomorrow I start English 2010, it is an Internet class so no trips to the campus. Friday is my birthday (ahhhhhh!!!!) and I will be turning 19. Crazy, I know. But if you try to call me I might not answer because I will be in Moab with my ward water rafting. I am really excited. This summer is going to be fun I can just feel it.

Meh

So life has been boring for me lately. I have been at school and work and more school... with some random friend time thrown in there. It feels weird to me that in less than a month I will no longer be a college Freshman... Where does the time go? I don't know what to tell you about my life right now... Spring Break was amazing, school is boring, upsilon is coming to an end this year, and I in some dire need of sleep. I have decided to start going to the singles ward, maybe I can finally get a date or two... and I will start going not this sunday but next sunday. Thats about all I have right now.

yeah a post!!!

I realized that I did not post once during February... Sorry about that I figured you all didn't want to hear about school, work, and more school. So lately I have been on this kick where I like to write hand written letters; which could be a good thing since so many of my friends are on missions except that I haven't written to that many of them - oh well. Anyway this means that some of you may get random letters from me in the mail, because everyone loves getting good mail right? I know I do at least so that is why I am doing it.

School has been going good. I have midterms coming up next week then it is spring break, so that will be nice. I am working on a few projects and I hope that if I get those done early enough than I only have to stress about studying for the tests. It has been an interesting month at school and I can already tell that I have learned a lot from all of my teachers. Usually I remember the faces of everyone in my classes but slowly I am just caring less and less... which might be a little bad, but there are just too many people so whatever.

I interviewed for a girls camp last weekend and I hope I get the job. It is something I have wanted to do since I was 12. If I don't get the job I will probably take a class or two during the summer instead. I won't know if I have the job until later this week or next week. And with that note I decided to start exercising more, so I have been trying to go running or ride my bike a few times a week. So even if I don't get the job I can at least start getting into a more regular routine.

right...

Sorry my life has been a little boring the last few weeks. I have mostly been doing homework and working. No time for much of anything else. I did start my sorority back up and that has been a huge relief to my crazy weeks. I don't have any exciting news to post. So I will think of fun things that I have done and post those later.

Yeah College!

Everyone thinks I am a little psycho for thinking this... but I am so glad to be back in school!!! It gives me something to do, it means sorority is starting back up, and I am excited for my classes. So far I am liking all my professors and my classmates. I was even hit on in my Politics class. It was really funny and of course I didn't realize what was going on until after the fact. Then I was to busy trying not to laugh to really do anything about it... oh well it was funny. And in Human Anatomy I was paired up with 3 really cute boys... of course every time I decide that I don't want a relationship and what not all the boys start hitting on me... every time, it is kind of funny.

I am glad that sorority is starting back up this week. It has been so weird not having girls around to talk to all the time... maybe it is just the fact that Jeanne is gone and I feel extremely bored... maybe. But I also gives me some girls my age... to talk to about boys. (They have a different opinions than my sisters... sorry. No offense) I have missed all of my friends and hopefully now I can start getting out of the house more. I am excited if you couldn't tell.

Well that is kind of my life right now... I will keep you posted if anything actually exciting happens.

Randomness

My last week has been very random. I had a great Christmas, got a new camera (it has polka dots OMG) and some cute cowgirl boots, which I love. I do need to go dancing now so i can try out my new boots... Good thing Kristina and I are going on Tuesday! So if anyone wants to come they are more than welcome to join in on the dancing fun at studio 600 with Tina and I. I started a new job, I am doing marketing and pretty well actually. I already got my first promotion and my managers all love me. They all tell me I am a hard worker; I just pay attention at the meetings, and my sisters keep telling me is not hard for our family to be suck ups because that is what we do... anyway. I really do like it and it is fun, all the people I have meet here are so nice to me.

I went to a party for New Year's Eve. That was fun and exciting. Especially the part where my friends and I went to the Seven-Eleven across the street from East High School and had a dance party in their parking lot. It was so much fun getting to see all my Upsilon friends before it starts up again on the 15th. Yeah sorority!!! I got to talk with Dan some more and he spent a good like 10 minutes making fun of my laugh... whatever. I had fun.

I start school again on the 12th and that is going to be exciting. I am actually excited for the classes I am going to take this next semester. Plus I can probably car pool with Tanya some of the days, which will give me some time to talk with her some more again. That is really all I have to say for now... um ...

Go Utes. Dominate Alabama.
