new member of the family...

No this isn't a post about a baby coming so just put that from your minds right now.

So Chris was being really nice to me one weekend and agreed to getting a dog. His name is Duke. We love him so much and enjoying having him around. Duke is a very good dog and provides us with many laughs. He has a stuffed Hedgehog, named Gopher, that he just loves and is carrying it around the apartment all day! He also loves to lay on his back. Every time he goes to sit by me it ends up with him on him back waiting to have his belly rubbed. He is such a cute dog!

Any way enough about the dog. On some other news important news... We found a new bigger apartment that we both really like so we are moving soon! It will be different since it is in an apartment complex and not a house. I will have to adjust a little but it will be lots of fun! We are going to miss our neighbors and ward members they have been really great. I also registered for some SLCC classes so it will be nice to be back in school after getting sick and planning a wedding. Almost done with my generals!! Yeah! Now I just have to decide what major again... I don't know why I am having a hard time with this. Oh and I also realized that in less than a month I will be 21! Hooray!

101 things...

So on our honeymoon we found this book 101 Things to Do Before You're Old and Boring. It is pretty funny and there is some weird stuff in there. One of the things to do is called Watch These Films. So even though we have seen some of the films already we decided to watch them all together. It has been a little difficult finding them all since there are over 150 and some are really old movies. Some of our favorites so far have been: Iron Giant, Zoolander, Indiana Jones (all 4), Harvey, and The Princess Bride. It has been fun to work on this together. I think out of all the things to do we have only checked off 10.

Other than that we haven't been up to a whole lot. Chris is still working... and he well hates it. He seems to get a lot of "stupid" or "rude" people. There are the few funny stories that make it a little nice but by all means this is not something he wants to do for the rest of his life like some of his co-workers. Also our apartment lease is up in June so we have been looking into some options. We did stumble upon one apartment that we like and the property manager said they almost always have one available so fingers crossed. It has been a fun couple of months and we are enjoying being together more and more everyday! Thanks to everyone for all the support and love!!

March already

So it is hard to believe that it is March. It feels like only last week that Chris and Jeanne arrived home from their missions; not a year ago. Things are going good with Chris and I. He is enjoying his job and I find it very entertaining to hear about all the weird people he has talked to during his shift. In case you didn't know he is working as a telephone operator; so he gets a lot of elderly women calling for the date and time! Oh he even told me that some of his coworkers received calls asking about how much flour they should add to a recipe! People are so funny! I shocked Chris the other night when he came home because I decided to rearrange our furniture... We are finally getting Internet and I realized that the desk was on the wrong side of the room so I moved it and the table around. It was amusing to see the look on his face when he walked into the room. Oh and the really big exciting news... wait for it... Jeanne and Mom got Josh Groban tickets for August!!!! YEAH!!! Nothing else new or exciting to post about... I am up for requests... Love You Lots!!!

Chris and I are doing well; enjoying the married life. We haven't "killed" each other yet... cause people do ask us that. I realized today that I only need like 5 more classes (or something) until I can graduate with an AS in general studies... Oh and Chris found a job at Qwest; he starts next week. Yeah!!  Valentine's day was very uneventful for us. We actually invited my best friend over cause Chris and I didn't want her to be alone... so we watched a movie and played card games (so exciting...). Other than that I really don't have anything to post about. My stomach is acting up again but I put myself on a mostly liquid diet for a few days and it is starting to feel better. And I learned from my new apartment that while a huge bathroom is nice I think I prefer counter and cupboard space. But our lease is only for 6 months so we can really find something we like during the summer. Love you all!!! And thanks for reading about my boring life...

December...

So apparently I am a really bad blogger... Anyway, I am going through the temple tonight and the wedding is only 8 days way!!! I am starting to feel a little stressed and nervous for it all to happen but that is normal (apparently). Chris and I moved into our apartment over the weekend. I love it! The bathroom is huge; like 1/3 of the apartment! The landlord who lives above us is really nice and funny... in that 83 year old man kind of way. I have a new job working as a temp at a home health and hospice company. It is pretty boring but the people here are way nice and so funny to watch. Oh and Christmas is this Saturday!!! Jayne and Alexia are coming into town that day so it is super exciting! AND I finished all my shopping yesterday!!

November....

Wow it is already November... Which means I will be getting married in less than two months. Chris is moving here next Monday, and then we will start apartment hunting. Wedding plans are coming along fine. Jacki is helping us to design them and I am going to go work on finishing my dress tonight!!! I think that everything is finally falling into place so that this thing can take place soon.

I went to an orthopedic for my back pain and he told me that I have a ruptured disk due to genetic degeneration... So pretty much my back sucks... But they did a cortizone shot and I am doing physical Therapy to see if that will help.So fingers crossed that the pain will go away soon.

And they are putting in a new girl to take over as Sisterhood officer this week... next week will be my last week as an officer. I am going to miss going everything Thursday night and spending time with those wonderful girls every week. That is about it for my life right now...

What I've been up to...

Well let's see... I got a new job working at a care center for people with disabilities. I love it so much. I am working the graveyard shift so it is a bit tough... but I will get use to it. Summer classes started and I am only taking English. So far I like it; it is a good class. And I guess the biggest news is that my boyfriend came to visit me! Yeah! Chris came the first week of June on Monday night and stayed until Friday morning. It was a very exciting week and we both had a great time. A long distance relationship is hard but we both decided that we didn't want to try a relationship with anyone else. We talk a lot so it is good. Everything is going really well right now and the only thing that I have to really complain about is that my boy is two states away... other than that everything is going great. I am having a great summer so far. Oh and I am no longer a teenager!!! Hooray for my 20th birthday! Which was tons of fun... I went to a combined party with some friends at one of their houses. It was a blast.
