I'm a Slacker I know...

Sorry for not posting... I have been at school, work, sorority, or doing homework. I feel so busy. Anyway, school is going well. The down side is that cute boy with a decent personality will start to talk to me and be nice; then he jumps into his wife and child. Very frustrating. There are a few guys who don't appear to be married and are talking to me. We watched the movie The Secret in yoga and I thought to test it out I was going to think a positive thought... a simple one that would be nice but doesn't really matter... Like I want a cute, nice boy to ask me on a date. I haven't been asked out yet but these cute guys are starting to notice and talk to me now. It was pretty interesting to walk into my Study of Disability class and be put into the group with the only single boy in the class. We have two boys in that class, one is married, one sounds like he just got home from a mission... well actually three and the teacher who is also married. My group consisted of this lady in her 50s with a 27 year old daughter, a 16 year old who graduated early, a 20ish year old who is married, me, and the only eligible boy in the class. through most of the discussion he was staring at me and asking me random questions. Random facts for you...

Sorority is exciting; I joined Jeanne's chapter Upsilon. I love it and the girls there are so nice to me. They did start to call me mini-Jeanne. Which is funny because I am the one who is taller and bigger than her. Whatever... they are still willing to be my friend too. I have already had a lot of fun with them and I know they will be there to help me not feel lonely when Jeanne leaves on her mission.

"There are a few guys who don't appear to be married and are talking to me." Gay, gay, gay, gay, gay. If they aren't asking you out, they must be gay. Of course, asking YOU out hasn't necessarily eliminated the possibility that they're gay...

As for The Secret, I beg you to read this article (you may have to scroll down a bit to see it) before putting too much stock in the law of attraction.

I am glad you are enjoying school. The guys at school are probably too intimidated by your brains and good looks to ask you out. Just give it some time and continue to be yourself. If you really want to go out on a date, I am sure Brandon could find you a nice guy. I will keep thinking positive thoughts for you.

I thought you were waiting for a missionary. Did I miss something here?
