for those who didn't hear...

For all of you who didn't hear I went in to have a colonoscopy last Friday. They we checking to see if I have Crohn's Disease. They told me they were 95% sure that is what I have. Plus a few ulcers. It is not curable but it is treatable. If I watch what I eat and see what upsets my stomach and take my medicine I will be OK. I am with it as well as i can.

On a lighter note... I am officially a member of Upsilon now, I am no longer a pledge!!!! Yeah!!! This week we are doing a carnival for Halloween with one of the fraternities. I am kind of excited because I am going as bubble gum! Basically I am putting on all pink and a shoe on my pink wig... waaalaaaa gum under a shoe. Plus, there is this cute boy that everyone thinks likes me and I like him... and he is suppose to be there. Maybe i can finally talk to him after a few weeks. Well you might not care, but it is a big deal to me.

Today was also the primary program I was in charge of two four year olds, five five year olds, four six year olds. It was fun... I do love getting to teach these little children. They are so smart and loving, not to mention funny. But it was fun getting to go to Sunday school and relief society today instead of teaching again... would have been my 4th week in a row.

I love you all and thanks so much for all your support and care.

Jasmine,

Sorry to hear you have Crohn's. Your doctors probably haven't told about the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. I have had Crohn's for 20+ years and through this diet I achieved remission. If you are interested, see the official website for the diet - breakingtheviciouscycle.info .

Cheers,

I am glad they have figured out what is wrong and you can start to learn what you need to do to feel better. I like the costume idea! Alexia is a skunk and I promise to take pictures and get them posted ASAP. We love and miss you.
