My life has been so crazy busy that I haven't even thought about posting anything. Again I apologize. Well here is a quick summary of the past few months of my life:
September
I spent September starting school, taking care of family and spending time with friends. My Grandpa Rob passed away at the beginning of the month and it was difficult but I remind myself that he is no longer in pain, in a better place, and is with those close to him who have already passed on.
October
I started a Therapeutic Recreational Technician (TRT) class. It was so much fun and I met some amazing people in that class. (I am a little sad it is now over...) There was this Nun named Sister Ignatia that I sat next to for almost every class. She is so funny and was just wonderful to get to know. There were some ladies in the class my mom's age and we became close to as we ate lunch together and talked about our lives. It was a great opportunity and I am glad I took a chance and enrolled! Halloween was fun; I spent time with my friends. We dressed up crazy and went to a few parties. I also started learning my mom's medical records job at my uncle's nursing home. It has been a little exhausting and confusing. Oh and I finally received a calling in my ward: Compassionate Service Committee
November
Mom went in for a knee replacement surgery (which has been a bit taxing emotionally). I have also started the medical records job, finished up my TRT class, started volunteer hours so I can eventually take the test, and have been trying to stay caught up in my two online classes. I know the month has only just begun but I already feel a bit exhausted... I am really excited for Thanksgiving to come (and then Christmas!!!!). I love spending time with family, even if they do love to tease me.
Mom is doing great she is so strong and I don't know how she does what she does. One more month and this semester is over!! AND Jeanne comes home in (drum roll please.....) 4 and 1/2 months!!!! I am so excited. Those are pretty much all my random thoughts for now. I will try harder to be a better blogger... but no promises.
